Meet the Family Behind ToddlerTechie

Hi, We're the ToddlerTechie Family!
We're just a millennial couple trying to figure out this whole parenting thing while keeping up with the ever-changing world of technology.
When our little one came along, we found ourselves constantly researching how to balance screen time, which apps were actually educational, and how to use tech to make our lives easier (not harder).
We created ToddlerTechie to share what we've learned along the way - the wins, the fails, and everything in between. No corporate speak, no perfect parenting façade, just real experiences from one family to another.
Who We Are
The Techie One
Software and data specialist by day, gamer and anime dude by night. Always on the lookout for the next cool tech that can make our family life more fun (or at least more manageable).
The Always-Right One
Finance professional who keeps our family budget in check while making sure we invest in the right educational tools for our little one.
What We Believe
1Tech is a Tool, Not a Babysitter
We believe technology should enhance family time, not replace it. We're all about finding the right balance.
2Quality Over Quantity
Not all screen time is created equal. We focus on finding and/or creating high-quality, educational content that actually engages little minds.
3Real-World Experience Matters
We share what actually works for our family, not just theory. If our toddler didin't like something, we'll tell you about it!
4Digital Literacy Starts Early
We believe in raising kids who understand technology, not just consume it. That means teaching critical thinking from day one.
5Parents Need Support, Not Judgment
There's no perfect way to parent in the digital age. We're all figuring it out together, one day at a time.
6AI Can Be a Parenting Ally
When used thoughtfully, AI tools can help busy parents create more meaningful moments with their kids.
Things You Might Not Know About Us
Our toddler knew how to take a selfie before learning to count to three (we're still not sure if we should be proud or concerned).
Part spreadsheet, part social butterfly — I Marie Kondo my life for fun, plan like it's a sport, clean like it's therapy — and never say no to a tea-fuelled catch-up.
Once spent far too long in a 1:1 replica of the ISS's Columbus module pretending to be an astronaut.
We would pick a beach holiday over a city break any day of the week.
Come Along for the Ride
We're figuring this out as we go, and we'd love to have you join us. Subscribe to our blog, follow us on social media, or just drop by to say hi. Parenting is better when we do it together!
